Since the product is the new AST (Advanced Sapphire Technology) technology, made from 99.99% pure synthetic sapphire, is much more durable and therefore one of the best value for money solutions on the market today.

Let's first clarify why sapphire is extra.

Sapphire (which is a type of corundum) is a very special mineral, as it is the hardest after diamond, at 9 on the Mohs hardness scale. It is not for nothing that it is used as glass for expensive watches. It also has a different feel to glass, a smoother and cooler surface, it feels good to touch, very similar to the glass on the (non-sport) Apple Watch models.

The XPRO™ sapphire glass is also special in that it is very high purity. 99,99% contains pure sapphire in a very precise lattice structure, which is why its transmittance (clarity) is the highest possible: better than glass. In fact, you get the feeling that there is nothing on the phone screen. It's a whole new experience.

And scratch resistance is a new level. We've never seen anything like it. We could scrape the normal screen protector glass with a random stone, but not this sapphire glass. We tried to force it, but only the stone broke off small pieces, and the sapphire glass was spotless when we wiped it off. It was resistant to point-blank blows. It will deteriorate in places, but only there, not cobwebbed. Really strong.

The results are spectacular. There are no scratches, hardly any fingerprints and a better artwork, clearer display image, better colours, unlike with traditional screen protectors. The thermal conductivity is also very good, it does not store heat, it helps to cool the display.
